Drop in temperatures

Meanwhile, the week began in the Balearic Islands with slight atmospheric instability, which could lead to a general drop in temperatures after several days of intense heat. According to Aemet representative María José Guerrero, cloudy periods are expected, with maximum temperatures between 30 and 35 degrees.

On Tuesday, instability will persist with isolated showers in Mallorca. In Ibiza and Formentera, rain and storms will be more intense during the first part of the day, with a yellow weather warning at the maximum. Temperatures will drop slightly, with highs between 28 and 32 degrees.

Minimum temperatures will also drop significantly: values between 18 and 22 degrees are expected during the early hours of the morning, and they may even drop to 17 degrees in some places during the night from Monday to Tuesday, which will still be considered a torrid night in some areas.

Starting Tuesday afternoon, the weather is expected to gradually stabilize. Temperatures will rise slightly again, with highs between 29 and 33 degrees. This thermal relief will continue throughout the week, although Aemet warns that temperatures will rise again next week.
