PalmThe Llonguet Fair will celebrate its tenth edition this Sunday, April 26, in the es Pil·larí neighborhood, in Palma, with a program that will run from 9 in the morning until 5 PM and will combine gastronomy, crafts, and family activities. The event, already consolidated in the city's festive calendar, expects to gather thousands of visitors throughout the day.
The presentation of the fair has highlighted its role as one of Palma's most deeply rooted popular celebrations, with the participation of bakeries, pastry shops, and artisans from all over Mallorca. The llonguet, as the central product, is asserted as an element linked to the gastronomic identity of the city and its local fabric.
Local gastronomy and about twenty points of sale
Regarding the gastronomic offer, the fair will have around twenty points of sale for llonguets, managed by bakeries, food trucks, and local establishments. There will also be products from the Balearic Islands with quality distinctions such as the Denomination of Origin and the Protected Geographical Indication.
More than 60 artisans and products made in Mallorca
The fairground will bring together nearly 60 artisans, who will offer diverse products such as jewelry, painting, candles, macramé, clothing, board games, honey, beer, and pastries, among others. The objective is to reinforce the presence of local and artisanal products within a festive environment open to all citizens.
Activities for all ages throughout the day
The Llonguet Fair will include a continuous program of activities, with proposals for families and children, workshops, circus performances and street entertainment. There will also be showcookings by the ASCAIB chefs' association, parades, brass bands, a play area, raffles and 'tardeo' (afternoon drinks and snacks) spaces, as well as the traditional contest for the best llonguet.
