A large community fair will fill Camp d'en Serralta with activities all day long
More than a dozen social, cultural and sports entities will participate in this initiative
PalmThe Serralta square in Palma will host the Fira Serraltina on Friday, May 15, a community event organized by entities and services from Camp d'en Serralta with activities throughout the day, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The initiative will bring together social, cultural, and sports associations, as well as public services from the neighborhood, with the aim of fostering coexistence, raising visibility for the entities, and revitalizing the community life of the area.
During the morning, there will be various workshops and activities. The Club Bàsquet Camp d'en Serralta will organize a children's activity; Mallorca Play will offer a datchball workshop; the Associació de Tai Chi Taoista will hold an open tai chi practice, and CMSS Ponent will give a badge workshop.
Different information booths will also be set up with the participation of Amiticia, Càritas, CEPA La Balanguera, CMSS Ponent, Club Social Els Molins d'Esment, CS Valldargent, EAP Palma II, Girasol, and Templaris del Món.
Among the activities planned for the morning, a healthy route organized by CS Valldargent, which will start in Plaça Madrid, stands out, as well as a scavenger hunt. There will also be a food collection by Templaris del Món, the exhibition Serralta has a history, a book exchange, and traditional games with recycled materials also promoted by Esment. Esment's DJ will liven up the day.
The afternoon will continue with a program focused on exhibitions, music, and participatory activities. At 4 p.m., there will be a roller skating exhibition and games, as well as a circus workshop organized by Sa Fhormiguera and ANAB. The exhibition Serralta has a history can also be visited.
At 5 p.m., the Casal de Barri Camp d'en Serralta will offer a Zumba session, while Mallorca Play will return with a new datchball workshop. Afterwards, Topázio Mallorca Capoeira will teach a capoeira workshop.
Habaneras concert
Music will also take center stage with a concert by the habaneras group Trenc d'Auba at 6:30 PM and a bot dance exhibition by Escola de Ball l'Assumpció at 7:30 PM.
In parallel, throughout the afternoon there will be various table activities, such as a badge workshop by CMSS Ponent, board games by Servei Dinamo, a food drive by Templaris del Món, face painting, and a personalized hairpin workshop organized by Grup Jove de Serralta.
In addition, the afternoon will feature information tables from CMSS Ponent, Equip Dinamo, Som Serralta, Templaris del Món, and Topázio Mallorca Capoeira.
