A man bites a civil guard at Palma airport and destroys an airline counter.

PalmThe Civil Guard has arrested a 32-year-old man at Palma Airport accused of assaulting a law enforcement officer for biting him, after discovering that the airline he was traveling with had lost his luggage.

The incident occurred early Thursday morning, when the man, accompanied by his wife and son, began banging heavily on the furniture at the counter of an airline, which was closed at the time.

Alerted by the situation, several officers went to the scene with the intention of calming him down, but the individual reacted even more aggressively: he lunged at the armed forces officers and bit one. The detainee was brought before the court and released on bail after appearing before the competent judicial authority.
