PalmaThe plenary session of the Inca City Council has approved granting the 2026 Dijous Bo awards to Miquel Àngel Raió, the Inca Senior Citizens' Associations, and the Inca Farmers' Cooperative. The awards distinguish individuals and entities for their contribution to Inca society.
Raió has been recognized for his career of more than fifteen years in the performing arts, cinema, and video art, with over fifty shows premiered and several audiovisual projects. Among the awards he has received are the Serra d'Or Critics' Prize and the Mallorca Prize for Theatrical Texts. Since September 2022, he has been the director of the Teatre Principal in Inca.
In the social sphere, the award will distinguish four senior citizens' organizations: the Club del Pensionista Inca, the Llar de Padrins, Gent d'Inca and Amics del Centre Sociocultural. The City Council thus recognizes their work in fostering participation and social cohesion over four decades.
The third award will go to the Cooperativa Pagesa d'Inca, for its trajectory of more than forty years in the service of the peasantry and the primary sector of the Raiguer. Its defense of local production, support for farmers and ranchers, and the management of the municipal slaughterhouse are also highlighted, in addition to the collaboration with the citizenry during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Dijous Bo 2026 awards ceremony will take place on November 17 at the Teatre Principal d'Inca, within the framework of the city's big week.
