PalmMore than 9,000 people participated last night in the 51st edition of the Marcha del Güell in Lluc on foot, according to figures provided by the Grup Güell.

In statements to Europa Press, the president of the Güell Group, Francisco Bauzá, estimated that "between 9,000 and nearly 10,000 people participated in this edition, of which more than 7,000 were registered and the rest, around 2,000 or 2,500."

Of the total number of registered participants, Bauzá stressed that "80% came to Lluc —around 5,600 people—, thanks to the good weather since it wasn't too hot," he argued.
