One dead and one seriously injured in a traffic accident in Muro
The healthcare staff could do nothing to save the life of the 57-year-old man
PalmaA 57-year-old man has died and another, aged 24, has been seriously injured in a traffic accident in Muro (Mallorca). According to information provided by SAMU 061, the accident occurred after 1 p.m. this Thursday at the exit of the road from Muro to sa Pobla.
Emergency services were alerted to an accidental accident with an overturned vehicle. The driver had been able to get out by his own means, but the co-pilot was trapped.
The Police, Firefighters, an Advanced Life Support ambulance and a private Medical Life Support ambulance traveled to the scene.
Upon arrival, resuscitation maneuvers were initiated on the co-pilot, although death was confirmed shortly thereafter. The driver was transferred to the Hospital d'Inca.
