Palma firefighters are responding to a house fire on the avenues

PalmFirefighters in Palma are working to extinguish a fire in an apartment on the seventh floor of a building on Alexandre Rosselló Avenue this Tuesday. The fire broke out around 5:20 p.m. this Tuesday, and the Local Police closed the street to traffic to allow firefighters to work. According to sources from the Fire Department, the fire affected the exterior of a balcony, and crews are still working to extinguish the flames. SAMU 061 (Emergency Medical Service) treated five people, one of whom suffered minor injuries from smoke inhalation. An advanced life support ambulance, a shift supervisor, and a logistics vehicle were dispatched to the scene.
