Enderrock Awards

Saïm's 'Precipitaciones' was chosen as the best album at the 8th Enderrock Awards.

PalmThe VIII Enderrock Balearic Music Awards have chosen Precipitation, by Saïm, as the best album of the year, and Catana, by Maria Hein, as the best author's pop; Still a mystery, by Negre, the most prominent in pop-rock, and Parenostic, by Anna Ferrer, the best of folk.

In the eighth edition of these awards, which will be presented on November 5, albums by Mezquida & Chicuelo, Fades, Miquel Brunet, Marasme, Alanaire and Go Cactus have also been recognized, the awards organizers announced in a statement. Specifically, From the soul by Marco Mezquida & Chicuelo has been considered by the jury as the best jazz album; Metallix, from Fades, the best of urban music, and Re-visions of Palestine, by Miquel Brunet, has been recognized with the award for best classical-contemporary music album.

Ice, by Marasme has received the award for best rock album, and Act as if everything were nothing, by Alanaire, has been chosen as a breakthrough album. Critics have also distinguished Plaza Patines, from Go Cactus, as the best in a non-Catalan language. The complete list, which can be consulted at enderrock.cat, has been chosen from among the 125 Catalan and instrumental albums released in any format in the Balearic Islands between September 2024 and August 2025, in addition to around one hundred previously unreleased singles.

In addition, the group Antònia Font will receive the Enderrock Honorary Award for Balearic Music; Cap Pela will be recognized for his career; and musicologist and journalist Pere Estelrich will collect the award for Outstanding Personality in the Sector. The nominations in the popular vote are led by the trio Fades, followed by Maria Hein, Pelo de Gall, and Xavibo. The awards ceremony on November 5th at Palma's Teatro Principal will feature a dozen performances by Anna Ferrer, Ánimos Parrec, Xavibo, Cabot, Cap Pela, Mon Joan Tiquat, and Pla-ET, among others.
