The accused of raping a 14-year-old girl blames her: "She offered herself too much"
During the statement he has flatly denied the facts
PalmaThe accused of raping a minor of 14 years in Palma has denied the facts and stated that it was the girl who "offered herself too much" and who "wanted something". The trial in the First Section of the Provincial Court of the Balearic Islands continued this Wednesday with the declaration of the accused, after the minor testified behind closed doors on Tuesday.
During the interrogation, the man admitted to meeting the girl, but denied having had sexual relations with her. "She told me I was gay for not wanting to have sexual relations," he stated, in addition to referring to the girl's "rage" towards him with the rape accusation.
The man also denied giving the minor cigarettes and drinks, despite her insistence. He stated, on the other hand, that they never talked about her age or that she had been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder and had a 34% disability rating.
The Prosecutor's Office requests that he be sentenced to 30 years in prison as the alleged perpetrator of two sexual assault offenses against a minor under 16 years of age and to pay compensation of 25,000 euros to the victim.
According to the indictment, in January 2024, the accused lived in the same building as the minor, to whom he gave his phone number one day and, subsequently, wrote to her to suggest going for a walk in a park.
The minor, who has been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder and has a recognized disability rating of 34%, accepted and met the alleged aggressor at the building entrance. Once they arrived at the park, the indictment states, the accused raped her.
The prosecutor indicates that after the rape, the accused continued to speak with the victim and that, a few days later, he told her to come up to his home. In the bedroom, always according to the indictment, the accused drugged the victim and raped her again.
