The Balearic Islands' airports have experienced 275 delays and 55 cancellations due to rain.
Aemet has also declared an orange alert for this Wednesday.

PalmDelays of several hours and flight cancellations due to rain continued Tuesday afternoon at the airports of Mallorca and Ibiza and extended to Menorca, which had been nearly affected this morning.
According to information provided by Aena, between the three airports, as of 5:45 p.m., 275 flights were delayed, 55 canceled, and 3 diverted. The bulk of the incidents occurred in Mallorca, with 145 delays and 18 cancellations during takeoffs and 130 delays and 24 cancellations during landings.
In Ibiza, a total of seven cancellations and three diversions to other destinations were recorded, while in Menorca, the cancellations amounted to six. Both Mallorca Airport and Ibiza Airport have already reported numerous incidents throughout Monday morning due to the rain and storms that have been falling in the archipelago since dawn.
The rain warning is extended to Wednesday.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has forecast rain and storms for all the islands, so the archipelago will remain under orange warning (important) with maximum values of 140 liters per square meter (l/m²) in Mallorca.
Thus, the Agency forecasts the passage of an Atlantic storm this Wednesday, which will affect the easternmost part of the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. Heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in the islands during the early hours. Showers could also occur in Mallorca in the afternoon.
