The EMT will offer 93 new jobs

PalmThe extraordinary Board of Directors of EMT Palma has approved the 2025 Public Employment Offer, which includes the incorporation of new personnel and the stabilization of structural positions, with 93 and 245 positions, respectively.

According to the City Council in a press release, at this Monday's meeting the regulations for the reduction of the temporary nature of 245 structural positions were approved.

Furthermore, the green light has been given to the creation of 93 new positions to be incorporated into the workforce corresponding to coverage by the ordinary rate for replacement in the 2025 financial year and for the expansion of the 2025 structure. Of these 93 positions, 44 are driving staff positions, 9 of which are for 5, and 5 are new.

As a new development, EMT Palma has created a new Mobility Personnel area within its structure. This area will be made up of staff, especially drivers, who have been recognized as permanently and totally incapacitated for their usual profession. With their relocation, these workers are being offered the possibility of relocation within the company, thus complying with recent rulings by the Court of Justice of the European Union and the reform of Article 49-N of the Workers' Statute. The workers in this new Mobility Personnel area will perform assistance and support functions for users and drivers during service on public roads.
