The mystery of the dead rabbit and the threat to Binissalem: "Pay for the drugs."
A neighbor has reported the situations experienced in a squatted apartment and the insecurity felt by the residents.

PalmA Binissalem resident has reported the unsafe conditions they have experienced in recent weeks on Bonaire Street, allegedly related to a drug trafficking case. The latest incident was the appearance, outside a neighbor's door, of a dead rabbit with a threatening sign that read: "Bitch Sonia, pay for the drugs." The same sign also featured, in small print, the word "kill."
According to the neighbor, the problems with this woman and this home began just over a year ago, when the woman broke up with her partner—the person who rented the house—and decided to stay as a squatter. Since then, neighbors have reported to state security forces that there are frequent fights, noise, parties, and uncivil situations.
In recent weeks, according to the neighbor, the situation has worsened. One night, two men broke the window of the house with a stone; others put a lock on the outside to prevent the woman from leaving, and this week the dead rabbit was found with the message. The neighbor also reported that a few days ago the woman stole the wallet of an elderly man on the same street.
However, they assure that Civil Guard and National Police officers have explained to the neighbors that right now they can't do anything other than come whenever they are notified and try to resolve the current problem. "The neighbors are fed up with this situation," they stated.
