The Pere Garau Second Life Fair wants to raise awareness about the need to extend the life of objects

PalmThe Pere Garau square in Palma will host the 1st Second Life Fair next Sunday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, an event open to the public whose main objective is to contribute to raising people's awareness about the need to extend the life of objects.

As reported this Wednesday by the organizers, the fair revolves around the idea of "alargascencia" (lengthening life), a movement against planned obsolescence, which promotes the circular economy and seeks to extend the life of objects or their recycling instead of them ending up in landfills or incinerated.

"The Second Life Fair seeks to raise awareness about the environmental impact of consumption and offer real alternatives to extend the useful life of everyday objects", the organization has highlighted.
