"There are a lot of Germans": What surprises tourists when they come to Mallorca?
Travelers describe the characteristic features of the island that most caught their attention.

PalmXimbomba, the Digital Marketing Agency in Mallorca, has taken to the streets to ask tourists what surprised them most about Mallorca and their time on the island. One highlights the number of Germans found everywhere in any municipality, while others focus on the prices, lifestyle, and beauty of the residents.
The most repeated comment refers to the Mallorcan way of life and lifestyle. Tourists describe the islanders as "very kind, friendly, warm, welcoming, and open." They also like the lifestyle, which they describe as "calm and relaxed." One of the interviewees speaks about the Mallorcan physique, saying that "they are very attractive, much more handsome than the rest of Spain." "They are all very muscular; wherever you go, you see people running or exercising," she remarks with surprise.
A British tourist says that what surprised him most were the prices: "Things are very cheap here."
Others refer to the island's urban planning and say they were surprised by the fact that the streets are "very narrow" and the buildings are "very low."
