PalmThe Blat restaurant in Palma's Sac district will host a symbolic event to show solidarity with the people of Gaza suffering from hunger as a result of the genocide perpetrated by Israel. The event, which arose from a citizen initiative, will take place this Sunday at 12 noon at the restaurant located on Blanquerna Street in Palma.

According to sources from the organization, the goal is to highlight the hunger suffered by thousands of people, including children, in Gaza. Therefore, they wanted to hold an act of protest and solidarity, which will consist of sitting down to a meal with an empty plate. In addition, members of the "From Gaza to the World" association will explain the current situation in the Palestinian city and accompany their presentation with video testimonials from families in Gaza. Singer-songwriter Joe Orson will provide the music for the event. Finally, the organizers explained that a raffle will also be held with bags and other items as prizes to support the cause. The organization expressed its gratitude to the restaurant staff for hosting the symbolic meal in solidarity with the Palestinian people. The event costs €10, and the proceeds will go directly to families in Gaza with whom the "From Gaza to the World" association has contact.
