28-year-old young man found dead inside a car on the sidewalk of the Andratx highway
According to initial investigations, the man would have suffered a fatal accident hours before and would have ended up in a place with poor visibility
PalmThe Civil Guard has located the lifeless body of a 28-year-old young man inside a car, which was located at an exit of the Andratx highway, hours after suffering a traffic accident.
It was around 11:30 this Thursday when the agents located the car at kilometer 5 of the Ma.-1, in an area of difficult visibility. Upon inspecting it, as confirmed by sources close to the investigation, they located the lifeless body of a man about 28 years old.
The main hypothesis that the agents of the Civil Guard's Traffic Group, in charge of the investigation, have is that the young man suffered a traffic accident hours before. Possibly, it would have taken place the previous night, despite the fact that it has not yet been possible to confirm.
The victim would have gone off the road on the left side and, subsequently, would have rolled over several times until ending up in an area that was not visible from the roadway, which is why apparently no driver had reported the accident before. Investigators are trying to ascertain how the fatal accident occurred and to locate any braking marks in the area that would support their hypothesis. Firefighters, the duty court, and the funeral home have been dispatched to the scene of the discovery. At around 1:15 PM, the body was recovered, and will now be subjected to the corresponding autopsy.
