PalmThe National Police in Palma carried out an operation against drug trafficking in the neighborhoods of Soledat and Foners on Tuesday, arresting three people and dismantling a sales point with armored doors and cameras to monitor the street. During the police operation, two home searches were carried out and a very active sales point in Soledad was dismantled, according to Europa Press.

Officers from the National Police's Narcotics Group II conducted an investigation related to drug trafficking in the Soledat neighborhood, where several individuals were illegally selling narcotics through a "bunkerized" sales point. Officers were able to verify that inside the sales point was a person who was allegedly selling cocaine, hashish, and marijuana.

Outside, there was a person in charge of notifying of the presence of police officers or taking buyers to the point of sale. A woman frequently went to this point, with the task of collecting the money to avoid being intervened in a hypothetical police action.

Once the police had obtained all the information, an operation was established at around 10:20 a.m., in which the Soledad home and point of sale were accessed simultaneously, where various narcotics were located inside. At these locations, two people were arrested as alleged perpetrators of a drug trafficking crime.

Officers from the National Police's Technical Interventions Operational Group had to dismantle armored doors that hindered access to the point of sale. In addition, investigators were able to confirm that one of the detainees, upon noticing the police entering his location, dismantled the drain hole where he had thrown the drugs, but evidence was found during the search.

Search in the Foners neighborhood

Minutes later, a home in the Foners neighborhood was searched, and a person linked to the two arrested in Soledad was arrested. As a result of the investigation and the police operation, various quantities of marijuana, hashish, and cocaine were seized, as well as money and paraphernalia necessary for drug dealing.

The police operation involved Udyco officers with officers from the Provincial Judicial Police Brigade, the Technical Intervention Operations Group (GOIT), as well as the Police Intervention Unit (UIP), and the Prevention and Reaction Unit (UPR).
