A Variety Fair without variety: "We came for nothing"
The success of participation has caused stocks to run out before noon.

PalmThe 1st Palma Variety Fair, which took place this weekend in the Pere Garau neighborhood, was a huge success in terms of participation and a variety of activities that received the support and joy of those attending. However, a serious logistical problem left many attendees without food and unable to enjoy the fair's key element: the variety.
The large number of people who gathered in Palma exceeded the organizers' expectations and generated disappointment and anger among many attendees who were unable to eat: "It's a disgrace, we came for nothing; the Variety Fair and they don't have any variety," harshly criticized one attendee.
During Saturday night, the restaurants and bars that offered variety had already run out, but the situation this Sunday has further fueled the frustration of those attending. "I came last night and there were none left, and we said with family and friends that we would come tonight for lunch and there were none left either."
According to the attendees, shortly before 1:00, it was already impossible to get a variety of food. "Some stalls had Russian salad, others had meatballs, others had snacks, but you couldn't find a whole variety of food anywhere." "It wasn't even noon and there was nothing left; what kind of variety fair is this?"
Fairgoers also complained that no one was letting them know they were out of the variety, despite having people queuing. "We were queuing for a while, and they told us we could only eat snacks; I think the least they could do was warn them," they complained. Faced with this situation, the cash registers decided to refund the money of all those who couldn't enjoy the variety and to notify new buyers.
With just over an hour to go, the square had emptied noticeably, and the band performing saw the crowd dwindle by half as they looked for a place to eat.
The big winners of the day were the restaurants in Pere Garau. When people found out they were out of variety, they decided to look for another option for lunch, and it was difficult to find an establishment in the area where, without a reservation, you wouldn't have to wait for lunch. "We can't eat a variety of foods, nor can we eat all at once. It's chaos. The last three restaurants told us we'd have to wait half an hour. We headed home with empty stomachs," one of the attendees explains with resignation.
