Inca will modify the advertising ordinance to prevent hate speech.
The Islamophobic poster appeared painted with the Palestinian flag this past Monday.

PalmInca will not allow the return of a billboard with a hateful message like the one currently in place in the municipality thanks to Vox. The City Council plans to approve next Thursday, in the City Council plenary session, a modification to the ordinance regulating advertising installations and activities, which has not been amended since its approval in 1993. In this regard, the Councilor for Urban Planning, Heritage, Housing, and Participation, Andreu Caballero, explained that the objective of the modification is to prevent messages of hate or violence from being broadcast on billboards. Failure to comply with the ordinance may result in fines of up to 30,000 euros in the most serious cases. The City Council may also act ex officio to remove the advertising.
It should be remembered that the Islamophobic Vox poster in Inca appeared this Monday painted with the Palestinian flag. Vox reported the incident through social media and described the act as "vandalism," and considered that "the same people who paint the pro-Hamas flag refuse to condemn regimes that oppress women." A few days ago, Vox launched a campaign targeting Muslims, with the placement of a series of billboards in different municipalities in Mallorca, all of which have a significant number of new arrivals, as is the case in Inca and Manacor.
The panel featured two young women, one wearing a burka and the other with her face uncovered, and read: "What Spain do you want?" The party has spread a message in the same tone on the social network X: "The left was angry because Vox tells the truth: no to Islamization! We want a Spain that is free, safe, and faithful to its roots. Enough of the Islamist impositions." However, it should be noted that this policy is not new; it has already been implemented in various parts of the state and has been a source of rejection and confrontation.
