Mallorca celebrates the tenth edition of the march against cancer on October 26th.
The event includes two categories: an 8km open race and a 4km popular walk, both starting and finishing on Antoni Maura Avenue.

PalmThe Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) in the Balearic Islands will hold the tenth edition of the Mallorca en Marcha contra el Cáncer charity race on Sunday, October 26th, an already established event in the island's sporting and charity calendar.
The event is part of the pink campaign that the association is promoting during the month of October, in celebration of World Day Against Breast Cancer (October 19th), and will once again bring together thousands of people committed to the cause.
As usual, the race will have two stages with the start and finish on Antoni Maura Avenue, next to Parque del Mar:
- At 9 a.m., the 8 km Open race will start, which will cover a traffic-free urban circuit through the center of Palma. The top three finishers in the men's and women's categories will receive a commemorative trophy.
- At 11:30 a.m., after the trophy presentation, the non-competitive 4-km walk will begin, attracting thousands of people.
New this year are the children's races, which will take place between the two events at 10:30 a.m., with different distances depending on the age group.
Registration can be done online. www.elitechip.netPeople with disabilities can register for free, as can children under 12, who will receive a T-shirt, a wristband with the sport's values, and a commemorative medal on the day of the event, thanks to the support of the Consell de Mallorca.
Race numbers and T-shirts will be distributed from October 22 to 25, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the AECC headquarters in Palma (C/ Simó Ballester, 9, ground floor) or on the day of the race, one hour before the start of each event.
