Caixafòrum Palma presents the new season: four exhibitions and several workshops
The goal is to get 300,000 visitors
PalmCaixafòrum Palma will host four exhibitions on art and nature, color, and Javier and Rafa Forteza, among other activities and workshops designed for all audiences, this new 2025/2026 season. This was explained by Noemí Vallespir, Planning and Content Manager of Caixafòrum Palma, and Isabel Salgado, Director of the Exhibitions, Collection, and Caixafòrum+ Department of the "la Caixa" Foundation, at a press conference to present the new exhibition season.
The first exhibition, Unfounded rumors. Javier and Rafa Forteza, will open to coincide with the Night of Art and is the first joint exhibition between the two artists. It features the collaboration of Es Baluard and is presented as a sensorial experience in which the viewer "is free to imagine."
At the beginning of October, Caixafòrum Palma will host the exhibition. Art and Nature, A Century of Biomorphism, which will include painting, sculpture, photography, film, design, and architecture.
This season will also feature an exhibition on color, titled Colors of the world in collaboration with National Geographic, as well as the exhibition Zuloaga / Angalada - Camarasa. Two visions of modernity, a dialogue between both artists.
As highlighted at the press conference, Caixafòrum Palma welcomed a total of 250,000 people during the 2024/2025 season. Specifically, 190,000 people participated in a cultural experience and another 128,000 visited the exhibitions. The goal for this new season is to reach 300,000 visitors.
The public that visits the headquarters in Palma is mainly local residents; in fact, they explained that tourist visitors do not reach 3% of the total.
