María Pombo, protagonist in the questions of the Spanish exam of Selectividad
Seven of the ten points of the exam have the content creator as the center of the question
PalmaMaría Pombo, one of the influencers most followed in Spain, has been the protagonist of two of the questions on the Spanish Selectividad exam taken by students from the Balearic Islands this Tuesday, the first day of the PAU tests in the Archipelago. Specifically, the content creator appears in the question where students are asked to identify and explain the syntactic relationships established between the clauses in the following fragment: "The controversy surrounding María Pombo's reading has demonstrated the capacity that social networks have today to fix a debate in public conversation".
This question, where the influencer is cited, is worth three points on the final exam grade. The text commentary also relates to María Pombo. In this case, students must interpret, analyze, and reflect on an article from El País, by journalist Diego S. Garrocho, about the controversy involving the Spanish content creator. This question, in its different sections, is worth a total of four points. Thus, Pombo's presence in the exam accounts for seven out of the ten points students can aspire to.
In fact, only the third block, which refers to Literary Education, does not feature the content creator as the protagonist.
