Coach arrested for raping and impregnating a minor in Palma

PalmaA volleyball coach has been arrested in Palma for allegedly raping and impregnating a minor.
The events date back to June when, as confirmed to Europa Press by sources close to the case after information published this Tuesday by the newspaper Última Hora, the coach, 23 years old, invited the victim, 15 years old, and another minor to his home for lunch.
After lunch, according to the same sources, the man sexually assaulted the girl.
The young man was finally arrested by the National Police and after appearing in court last Saturday, he was released with a restraining order.

According to the National Police, it was last Friday when the victim went to report the events at the Superior Headquarters. According to her account, the alleged perpetrator invited her and a companion to dinner at his home and once the other minor left, he asked her to take off her clothes. She refused, but the aggressor forced her and, finally, raped her. Furthermore, the arrested man continued to speak to the victim through social networks, but the minor blocked him so they could not resume contact.
Upon receiving the complaint, the Family and Women's Unit (UFAM) of the National Police took charge of the investigations, and thanks to the minor's testimony, they were able to identify the man.
Hours later, the man was arrested by a patrol from the Citizen Assistance Group as the alleged perpetrator of a sexual assault crime against a minor under 16 years of age.
