A fire burns down an underground storage area of a hotel in Cala Sant Vicenç

PalmA fire has destroyed a storage area located in the garage of a hotel in Cala Sant Vicenç. The fire, according to the Mallorca Fire Department, broke out around 5:30 p.m. and was extinguished just under an hour later. Firefighters from the Inca and Alcúdia stations, along with the on-duty technician, were dispatched to the scene to carry out the firefighting operations. Although the fire initially appeared to be quite extensive, it ultimately only affected a storage area where hotel staff kept maintenance equipment. Firefighters from the Alcúdia station will now carry out ventilation work. The Inca firefighters have already withdrawn.
