PalmThe PSOE of the Consell d'Eivissa has publicly denounced that some of the new buses for the new public transport system are parked in a vacant lot in Platja d'en Bossa and, due to the recent rains, have become trapped in the mud and cannot move. This, according to the socialists, means they have been unable to operate to provide the planned service.

For the socialists, it is a "lamentable" image that defines the "disastrous planning" of the PP. The PSOE has reiterated that this situation is evidence of a "new ridicule" after the first month of implementation of the new transport contract. As they have criticized, this fact adds to "a long list of deficiencies due to the disastrous management of the Consell". Furthermore, they have pointed out that the breaches of timetable, lack of information, or the malfunction of the mobile application, with unreliable data on the lines, continue.

The PSOE has recalled that the electric buses are charged through a generator that burns 1,000 liters of diesel per day, which, according to them, results in three times more pollution than other vehicles. The PSOE has concluded by stating that it cannot be allowed for the more than 80 million of the new contract to be allocated to buses that become unusable due to mud.
