Four-year-old child dies from drowning in a swimming pool in Pollença

PalmaA four-year-old child has been hospitalized in serious condition after suffering a drowning at the pool of the Club Nàutic del Port de Pollença.
The events, as reported by SAMU 061, took place this Monday around 10 a.m. Emergency services received a call alerting them that a four-year-old minor had drowned in the pool.
The lifeguards rescued him and performed the first cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers until the arrival of paramedics, who stabilized him. The child, of British nationality and who was on vacation with his family, was transferred by ambulance to the Son Espases University Hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition.
The Civil Guard, given that the green code had been activated, escorted the paramedics to ensure that the road transfer was quick.
