Majorcan singer Jaume Anglada was seriously injured after being hit by a fleeing car.

Hours later, officers managed to identify and locate the driver, a 20-year-old man, and arrested him. Officers found the young man at his home, and he did not deny the facts when they arrived to arrest him for failure to render assistance and injuries due to gross negligence. According to police sources, when they stopped him, officers subjected him to a breathalyzer test, and he tested positive. Specifically, he had 0.6 mg/l of breath, three times the legal limit.

Minutes before 5:30 p.m., the young man accused of running over the Mallorcan singer was brought before a court. At around 9:00 p.m., the judge on duty at the courts on Avenida de Alemania issued a warrant. provisional detention for the detainee.
