Man remanded in custody without bail for attempted murder of his ex-partner in Costitx

PalmThe 31-year-old man who attempted to murder his ex-partner in Costitx on November 30th has been remanded in custody without bail. The incident occurred on the street opposite a house in the village of Costitx, when the victim, a resident of Alaró, went to a party.

At one point during the party, the woman went to her car when the assailant surprised her and began stabbing her. The Civil Guard took over the investigation and arrested their main suspect, who was hospitalized and under police custody after attempting suicide. Once recovered, the man, who had a restraining order against the victim, was brought before a judge, who ordered his remand in custody without bail.
