One dead and one seriously injured in a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Ciutadella.

PalmA 55-year-old man died and a 28-year-old woman was seriously injured in a traffic accident between a car and a motorcycle on the EM-24 road, near the Cala en Bosch roundabout in Ciutadella (Menorca), during the early hours of Thursday.

According to SAMU 061, the incident occurred around 6:51 a.m. and caused one of the vehicles to catch fire. An Advanced Life Support (ALS) unit was dispatched to the scene of the accident and treated both patients.

The man died at the scene of the accident, while the woman was taken to Juaneda Ciutadella Hospital in serious condition.
