Packed trains and airless cars to get to the Much
One of the trains has been stopped for more than 20 minutes at the Intermodal station with doors and windows closed, packed to the brim, and without air conditioning.

PalmThe journey to the Much de Sineu train station became a stifling experience for many travelers this Monday. Both partygoers and regular train users experienced the overcrowding of a public transport system that this summer not only reduced special services for this neo-party, but the usual service frequencies are considerably reduced, and they have weekend schedules (with exceptions). The situation has led to complaints about overcrowding and heat, with crowded platforms and passengers almost rushing in.
Speaking to ARA Baleares, one passenger explained that they were detained for about 20-25 minutes at the Intermodal Station on the packed train, "with closed windows and doors and no air conditioning," until a conductor came with a key and started opening the windows. "Finally, we changed trains because the air conditioning wasn't working on this one," he said.
This collapse has coincided with the reduction of special services that SFM normally operated to facilitate access to the Much de Sineu station, which were eliminated this year due to construction work at the Verge de Lluc station, which limited network capacity.
In addition, from August 5th to 17th, all trains will operate on weekend schedules, with only early morning service reinforcements, a measure that has also affected other daily commuters.
The situation experienced this Monday by many young people on the way to Sineu, with passengers bumping into each other and entering the carriage with betzef, adds to the daily overcrowding on early and late services that has been experienced since August 1st, 11 days ago, on SFM trains. In its assessment of the first day of schedules, the Mallorca Train Users' Association was blunt: "The situation is worse than ever."
