A private helicopter finds the missing tourists alive after renting a boat in Ibiza.

PalmA private helicopter has located the two tourists who disappeared at sea after renting a boat in Ibiza. According to Salvamento Marítimo, this Saturday they received a report of the disappearance of a boat that had left Ibiza for Andratx with two crew members on board.

Upon receiving the alert, Salvamento Marítimo deployed a search operation to try to locate the crew, which initially involved a helicopter and a rescue boat. Salvamento Marítimo subsequently requested the participation of an Air Force search and rescue (SAR) aircraft.

It was this Air Force SAR aircraft that received the communication from a private helicopter reporting that it had located the crew and brought them to the ground.

Once on the ground, the SAR service relayed the information to Salvamento Marítimo, which deactivated the search operation.
