Joana M. Pastor publishes 'Ales de fang', the conclusion of her Mallorcan fantasy saga

PalmThe fantasy saga El món món màgic de Lot comes to its conclusion with the publication of the fifth volume, Ales de fang, which will be released coinciding with Sant Jordi's Day 2026. The work brings to a close a literary universe of Majorcan fantasy initiated in 2018 and created by the Palma-based writer Joana M. Pastor Perelló.

According to the author herself, this last book closes a "journey" that began with the first lines of the first volume and has grown over the years. Pastor highlights the emotional bond with the characters and argues that the story "is as much hers as it is the readers'", in a clear commitment to the public's involvement in the narrative universe.

Ales de fang is presented as a novel that looks to the past to understand the future, in a story where time is conceived as a circular element. The book poses and, presumably, resolves many of the enigmas accumulated throughout the saga: the origin of the white and black dragons, the role of the hunters, the fate of various key characters, or the mysteries surrounding the world of Lot.

With this volume, the author aims to provide answers to the questions that have been left open in previous installments. Joana M. Pastor Perelló (Palma, 1979) is the creator of this fantasy literature saga, of which she is also the editor, and she declares herself "one more fan" of a world that, she assures, has a life of its own.
