PalmaThe Vox spokesperson, Manuela Cañadas, conveyed during the second session of the general policy debate her "full willingness" to negotiate new budgets and, furthermore, to be a partner of the PP in the next legislature. But she did so by putting three conditions on the table. "More deregulation, firmness against illegal immigration and, regarding aid and housing, locals first," asserted the deputy, who warned the Government that "the extended hand is not a blank check".

Only Vox deputies applauded Cañadas after her speech. The spokesperson claimed victories wrested from the PP during the legislature. "Vox has been, is, and will continue to be a predictable, serious partner with an outstretched hand," she warned. She boasted about the elimination of the Catalan language requirement in Healthcare, even though Prohens had already promised it during the campaign and the measure was part of the PP's electoral program: "Here merit rules; a patient does not need a doctor with a Catalan certificate." Also, the elimination of the inheritance and gift tax, which she called the "death tax."

The far-right deputy fired shots at the Spanish government. "We cannot analyze the state of the Balearic Islands without talking about the cage in which [Pedro] Sánchez has put us," she declared. "He has raised our taxes more than 140 times since 2018; we are not his ATM," she continued. She also once again put immigration in the spotlight. "Every mass regularization is an advertisement to the other side," said the spokesperson, who demanded the "deportation" of immigrants who commit any type of crime.
