PalmaThe Palma City Council has postponed the 2027 budget votes for the Municipal Transport Company (EMT) and the Municipal Parking and Projects Society (SMAP) due to Vox's refusal to guarantee their favorable vote. The boards of directors of both municipal companies were scheduled to meet this Monday afternoon to approve the accounts, but were ultimately called off.
According to sources from Vox, the party has left its support for the budgets up in the air and has demanded to "delve deeper" into some points that it did not see as "clear". For its part, Cort indicated that there were still issues "to polish" in the accounts and remarked that the votes have been postponed. For this reason, the City Council has cancelled the board of directors meetings.
