Scare in the center of Palma: the roof of a building collapses and four people are forced to evacuate

PalmaA building on Campaner street in Palma suffered a collapse this Tuesday that also affected a neighboring dwelling and forced the evacuation of four people.

The incident occurred around 4:45 PM at number 10 of the street, when the roof of the building collapsed, according to the Palma Local Police. Police officers and Palma Firefighters were dispatched to the scene to secure the area and assess the damage. The collapse also affected a dwelling located at number 3 of Can Pueyo street, which is why the preventive evacuation of the residents, three men and one woman, was carried out. Despite the spectacular nature of the event, the Local Police confirmed that no one was injured.
