PalmThe Palma Local Police broke up a massive drinking party with a large number of young people, many of them minors, and illegal street races involving motorcycles and cars on the Son Roca road. According to information provided by the force, the operation took place on February 6th, resulting in 50 people being identified, 40 vehicles (mainly mopeds) being inspected, nine motorcycles being impounded, and four drug-related charges being filed.

A total of 50 people were identified, most of them minors.

In addition, 21 reports were filed related to the General Traffic Regulations and seven for violations of the Municipal Traffic Ordinance. The operation was carried out after numerous citizen complaints were received in recent months alerting authorities to a problem of antisocial behavior and road safety issues in the area. According to residents, groups of young people regularly gather there to consume alcohol and cannabis, generating litter, noise, and unsanitary conditions. They also reported the presence of improperly parked motorcycles and the performance of dangerous maneuvers that endangered traffic. Upon arrival, officers found a large number of individuals, mostly minors, participating in clandestine races. Recent tire marks from motorcycle skidding were observed on the road.
