They warn of the disappearance of 23 people who were traveling on a raft towards the Balearic Islands

PalmaThe migrant aid organization Alarm Phone has alerted to the disappearance of 23 people traveling on board a raft heading for the Balearic Islands.

The vessel, as reported by the organization, departed last Wednesday from the coast of Boumerdès (Algeria).

On board, still according to the information available to the entity, there were at least 23 migrant people heading for the Islands.

The relatives of these people have alerted that they have no information about their whereabouts –three days are usually more than enough to make this crossing– and have already alerted the Spanish authorities.
