Palma airport closed to traffic due to a drone flying in the area.

PalmThe sighting of a drone has forced the temporary suspension of operations at Palma Airport this Sunday afternoon, Enaire reported.

Shortly afterwards, the air traffic controller, on its social media account X, reported that Son Sant Joan has returned to operation. Enaire has recommended that anyone planning to fly to Son Sant Joan in the coming hours check with their airlines about the flight status.

Air traffic controllers, on their X account, alerted at around 7:00 p.m. of the sighting of the drone, which had been confirmed by at least six crews.
