The best photographs and the winners of the 2026 Mountain Photography Awards

PalmaThe 2026 Mountain Photography Awards already have winners. In an event held at La Misericòrdia, the names of the winning authors have been announced in the call launched by the Balearic Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing and the Palma Mountain Film Showcase, with the support of Colonya Caixa Pollença.

In this edition, 252 photographs from 90 participants have been submitted, of which 39 images by 32 authors have been selected to be part of the exhibition, which can be visited in the exhibition hall on the first floor of the La Misericòrdia Cultural Center until May 30. The images come from diverse territories such as the Serra de Tramuntana, Menorca, Nepal, Iceland, or Peru.

The competition, endowed with more than 3,500 euros in prizes, recognizes works from up to twelve categories related to mountains, sports, and nature. The jury has highlighted the quality and diversity of the proposals submitted, with a special presence of Balearic authorship.
