Santa MargalidaToc de Campana Santa Margalida has taken advantage of Pride Month to advocate on social media for the visibility of the LGTBIQ+ community from the municipality. The communication space has published several videos with messages focused on the need to name identities, defend bisexuality, and remember that coming out of the closet should not be a justification, but a way to be and love freely.

The campaign starts from a clear idea: even though it has often been said that “labels are for clothes,” for many people to be given a name continues to be an act of survival, recognition, and struggle. Toc de Campana (Bell Ring) defends that words are not used to lock anyone inside a box, but to make visible realities that for decades have been condemned to silence or anonymity.

One of the videos focuses on bisexuality and the stereotypes that still surround it. The message rejects that a bisexual person should be considered "confused", "in a phase" or that their orientation should be interpreted according to the partner they have at any given moment. The claim is that bisexual people exist, are valid, and do not have to prove their identity to anyone.

The initiative also defends the value of coming out of the closet. According to the message spread by Toc de Campana, doing so should not mean having to explain or justify oneself, but rather being able to live without fear and with freedom. In this sense, the campaign insists that identity does not depend on who accompanies a person at a specific moment, but on what each person feels and how they live it.

With this series of videos, Toc de Campana wants to bring the claim of Pride to the local level as well and make it visible that diversity is not an issue alien to towns. The underlying message is that Santa Margalida is also part of this fight so that no one has to hide who they are or be afraid to love freely.
