They call for an anti-fascist demonstration in Mahon on the occasion of Abascal's rally

PalmaAn anti-fascist group has called for a demonstration on Friday in Maó to reject the far-right on the occasion of the rally that Vox leader, Santiago Abascal, will hold in the city.
As reported by Revista Posidònia, the demonstration has been called for 6:30 PM at Parc Rochina, a few meters from where the VOX rally is scheduled to take place at 7:00 PM at the Plaça de la Conquesta.
The mobilization is presented as an expression of rejection of the far-right and a demand for a "Menorca that is open, plural, and committed to the defense of human rights".
The organizers are calling on the public to join the demonstration from the diversity of groups and sensibilities on the island, with the conviction -they say- that the defense of social and democratic rights requires a collective response.
The Vox rally in Maó will be the first of three that Abascal intends to hold on his tour of the Balearic Islands, as he has also organized other pre-campaign events on Saturday in Palma and Ibiza.
In addition to Abascal, the leader of Vox in the region and, at the same time, President of the Parliament, Gabriel Le Senne, will also speak at this Friday's event in Maó.
