IncaInca will hold a minute of silence this Sunday in memory of María del Carmen García Guevara, the 26-year-old young woman from Inca who died on Wednesday in the train accident in Urda, Toledo. The event will take place at 11:30 a.m. in the Plaça de Santa Maria la Major and will also serve to remember the rest of the victims of the disaster.
The young woman resided and worked in Madrid. The Inca City Council has expressed its condolences to her family and friends and has decided to suspend a large part of the institutional events scheduled for this Sunday as part of the second Inca Fair program.
Only the tribute to the elderly and the act of recognition and reparation of the memory of Andreu París and Bernat Mateu will be maintained, as they could not be cancelled at the last minute due to organizational reasons. Both will be held in a more sober manner and will include a remembrance for the deceased young woman.
The Fair will continue as planned, but without the usual festive character, with the intention of not harming small businesses and the people participating in it.
