Traffic closures due to the final paving of Palma's promenade: check the schedule here

PalmThe final paving and installation of horizontal signage on Palma's Paseo Marítim, as part of the ongoing renovation, will entail traffic restrictions from this Sunday until Wednesday. The impacts, according to Europa Press, will be particularly severe at night.
Thus, the paving and the installation of signage will require partial traffic closures and alternative detours on several sections of the promenade.
Specifically, between 10 p.m. this Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday, the intersection between Avenida de Argentina and Avenida de Gabriel Roca will be paved, which will result in the closure of the Paseo Marítimo from the intersection with Carrer del Monsenyl Andrach.
On Avenida de Argentina, traffic will be restricted upstream from Carrer de Sant Magí, and alternative routes will be enabled. Downstream, only access to Aníbal Street will be permitted, and all other vehicles must detour through Feixina Park.
The Port Authority of the Balearic Islands (APB) recommends using Gabriel Alomar Avenue as an alternative route to avoid congestion at the intersection. From the intersection of Gabriel Alomar and Gabriel Roca, access will only be permitted to vehicles heading towards Camino de la Escullera, the commercial docks, Antoni Maura Avenue, the Fish Market, or the fishing dock.
Furthermore, at the Portopí roundabout, Joan Miró Street will be established as an alternative route to traffic on the Paseo Marítimo. Exits from the Ponent and Paraires maritime stations, as well as from the marinas, must be made exclusively towards Andratx.
Impacts during the week
On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, traffic will be affected, respectively, between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Monday
The roadway towards Andratx will be paved, and traffic will be closed from Avenida Argentina to the Portopí roundabout. The road towards the airport will remain operational as normal.
Tuesday
On Tuesday, the roadway toward the airport (toward Son Sant Joan) will be paved, and traffic will be closed from the Portopí roundabout to Avenida Argentina. All traffic will be diverted via Carrer Joan Miró, except for ferry users. If any traffic restrictions are necessary, information will be provided.
