A duet denounces an LGTBI-phobic aggression during the Santa Maria del Camí vigil
The artists assure that they received insults, spitting, and blows that forced them to suspend the performance and they demand a response from the authorities

In a statement disseminated on social media, the artists claim that a group of young people interrupted the performance with insults and violent attitudes to the point of causing its suspension.
According to their account, the incidents began shortly after the concert started, when a group of people positioned themselves in front of the stage and began to verbally harass them. The artists state they do not know if the origin of the hostility was related to the flags they had placed on the table, which included a Palestinian flag, an SOS Residents flag, and an Antihomophobe Action flag.
The two artists claim that the tension escalated during the performance. They explain that some attendees displayed a Spanish flag, threw objects and spat towards the stage, and hurled insults such as "maricones" and other expressions they describe as LGTBI-phobic. They also maintain that several audience members who tried to defend them ended up being physically and verbally assaulted.
In the statement, they report that the events caused several injuries and the need for medical assistance for some people, which is why they decided to suspend the performance before finishing it. The artists also express criticism of the police action. They consider that the officers limited themselves to separating the two parties without distinguishing, as they claim, between the aggressors and the victims. Furthermore, they demand a clear stance from the authorities and measures to prevent such events from happening again in festive spaces.
The duo states that they do not intend to criminalize the young people involved, but rather to publicly denounce what they consider an episode of hate against the LGTBI community. They also link the events to the increase in far-right discourse and assert the right of any person to perform and express themselves "with complete freedom and without harming anyone".
