Man arrested for exhibitionism in front of several minors in Palma
The man allegedly pulled down his trousers and touched his genitals in front of several minors, according to witnesses
PalmaThe National Police arrested a man in Palma as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of exhibitionism after several witnesses claimed he had lowered his trousers and touched his genitals in front of several minors.
The events occurred on Saturday morning in the vicinity of a cafeteria. A person requested a patrol from the Citizen Attention Group that was performing prevention tasks to report that they had seen a man engaging in sexual and exhibitionist behavior in a public place.
According to the witnesses' account, the man was in front of the establishment with his trousers lowered and in the presence of several minors. Another man, who was inside the cafeteria with his minor daughter, explained to the officers that he had seen the suspect touching his genitals.
Two employees of the establishment also claimed to have witnessed the events. According to what they explained to the officers, the man was a regular customer and had already engaged in similar behavior previously. In fact, they pointed out that the day before, Friday, another similar episode had taken place at the same cafeteria.
When the officers spoke to the suspect, he denied having committed any sexual act. However, the police observed that he had his genitals exposed above his trousers, although partially covered by a t-shirt.
Given these facts, the officers proceeded to arrest the man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of exhibitionism.
