Abascal in front of a fortified headquarters: "Do not stop halfway in the elections, give us great support"

PalmaThe first shout from Vox supporters in Palma when Santiago Abascal entered the rally was not "president", but "Pedro Sánchez, son of a bitch". For the party, Abascal is the "only candidate" in the general elections, and for that reason, he has already begun visiting all the communities before the official start of the campaign.

From the headquarters, closed under strict security measures, Abascal has claimed "national priority, recovering Ceuta and ousting this corrupt government" as the main objectives. He has also addressed potential PP voters. "A small change is not enough," he asserted: "If you do not want us to stop halfway, do not stop halfway on 29N, give us great support".

The party leadership in the Islands attended the meeting. The spokesperson for the parliamentary group, Manuela Cañadas, was wearing a t-shirt with the quote by Blas de Lezo: "A nation is not lost because some attack it, but because those who love it do not defend it".

The President of the Parliament, Gabriel Le Senne, presented the event by defending the strong police presence: "We are here even if the progressive militias try to stop us". The head of the list for the Islands, Maribel Cerezo, claimed her resume as a scientific researcher and university professor, and defended among her motivations for entering politics having seen "many brilliant students having to leave".
